ON is the first swivel chair that enables perfect, three-dimensionally supported sitting thanks to a new type of synchronously supporting 3-D kinematics – Trimension.

In today’s busy office environment we all spend long periods of time in hunched positions at our desks. Bizarrely, despite being bad for our bodies we choose to adopt a lazy posture. What the human body actually requires is frequent and a varied range of movements. Wilkhahn understands this key principal of ergonomics which is why we have developed Trimension for the ergonomic ON chair. This unique tested feature is a patented technology for three dimensional, synchro-adjusted dynamic seating.

Trimension doesn’t just encourage forwards, backwards and sideways movements, but the pelvis to rotate too – which is so important for the spine’s stability. Two separately moveable swing plates, just like two thighs, lie at the core of the technology. Minimal shifts in weight are already translated into movement. The position of the pivotal points and the way they work are exactly like knee and hip joints. As a result, the body’s equilibrium remains in perfect balance – no matter what posture it adopts or the way it moves. This new dimension in seating quickly becomes something that’s -taken for granted. Backache is effectively prevented and the metabolism, muscles and joints are stimulated.

ON thus creates significantly greater and more natural range of motion in the lateral tilt and rotation of the pelvis and shoulders.
ON stimulates metabolism, improves spinal elasticity and muscle coordination, and increases activity without tiring the body.
The innovative mechanism with independently movable swivel arms, the three-dimensionally movable flexframe consisting of a torsionally flexible, slim upholstered seat shell and elastic back frame, as well as the backrest covering made of Fiberflex ensure excellent seating comfort.
A wide range of models and combinations leave nothing to be desired in terms of function and design. They ensure seating solutions from a single mold and from a single source.

The seat and backrest covered in innovative Fiberflex 35 fabric. It’s permanently elastic, breathable and kind to the skin. Due to its three-dimensional design, it looks like additional micro-cushioning.

After 4 years of loyal service, one arm of the chair broke. I contacted Kelly Office furniture with the details of the chair. After getting the spare parts, they came to my house to pick up the chair , replace the arm and brought it back within the day and all of this under the warranty. I really like that they have a showroom so you can check out before buying, but in particular get very good advice from the lads there. Aaron gave repeated good advice and help (I like to look a few times) and then when I had a problem with the chair I bought the  “POSTUREMATE” MESH BACK ERGONOMIC CHAIR - MEDIUM BACK, the guys were very helpful and replaced with a new one, no dramas, that makes a big difference!!!

Finally the seat needed to be re-padded. I approached Kelly's and they spoke with the manufacturer on my behalf. The manufacturer offered to re-pad the seat for nothing. No doubt Kelly's is an important client to them. David from Kelly's contacted me and said if I can get the chair myself to the manufacturer then he was happy to pass on the free offer to me to get the chair repaired for nothing. I took the seat to the manufacturer in Blacktown and a few days later I collected it. I cannot say how delighted I am and appreciative of Kelly's service. Such after sales service is what makes the reputation of a business and your business has a fine reputation. If I ever need more furniture I will come to Kelly's. I enquired to get a quote for recovering a chair I purchased some years ago. I love the chair still, its fantastic (Roxy) but the fabric had faded. After communication with Timo, he advised that the recovering would be covered under warranty. I was surprised and delighted. Service at this company is always polite, helpful and above the call.
